(He also taught himself guitar and has a dual NZ citizenship, btw.) I don't know if he's an active fan or not; presumably he'd be attending cons in Texas (Fort Bliss) or New Jersey (Pennsauken). Please send your prayers and good thoughts to him and his family (including his sister Mary, who has been in a coma since January thanks to some rare neurological disease), and please spread the news on other fannish groups.
