Inserted below will be the dealer info, but I'm afraid you're late again,
because as of right now I've only got one table un-requested and I know you
and Russ will want two. Tables are $55 each, and the dates are the 27-29 of
September. Take a look at the layout, though, and see if you think you can
make a living on #22. There is plenty of space-behind to set up your
computer, but only one table to display the actual trays of buttons and such.

Yours is the last email in today's queue, so I've listed you with a (1?) like
that, just in case you decide to take the plunge, and anybody who asks before
I hear back from you I'll tell them they are waitlisted.

DEALER ROOM UPDATE: ROC*KON 2002, September 27-29, 2002
ROCK AND TROLL!
Margaret Middleton
June 30, 2002

The good news is, we have more tables at the North Little Rock Hilton than we
did at the Best Western. The bad news is, that since we are working so close
to the convention date, we don't have the room until 4 p.m. on Friday. I can
maybe fudge that a little earlier if I can get them to agree to just set the
tables in place and don't waste time attaching tablecloths and drapes; and
leave us a stack of tablecloths so we have two per table. We are planning on
staying open late on Friday, til 9 p.m., to make up for some of the late
start.

The layout diagram is online at
 http://members.aol.com/msminlr/dealerlayout.html

There are 26 tables total; half of them wall tables, half center-island
tables.
All wall tables are along structural walls, with electrical outlets.
The tables along the wall opposite the doors have more space (4.33 ft.)
behind them than the ones along the wall to the left (3.0 ft.)

There is no difference in price between wall/center or with/without electric
access. All tables are currently $55 each, or 3 tables for $150.

There is a limit of 3 tables per dealer, since we've only got 26 tables
total.
Be real: if you can't make a living on 3-or-fewer tables, we are too small a
market for you anyway.

Each table price includes one preregistration.
If you have more crew than tables, the extra people can register for $20
each. Payment for these registrations MUST accompany the original table
payment.

All demo sound must be on headphones. So show videos with subtitles, or turn
on the closed-captioning. We had many-many complaints about dueling audios
last time.

As soon as we receive your table payments, we can list you on the Dealers
Info section of the web site, by name and type of stock you carry.

HOW TO GET HERE
Refer to your Rand McNally atlas or pick up a State Highway Map to get you to
downtown Little Rock/North Little Rock on Interstate 30. Following the signs
for Alltel Arena helps, too, since we are just down the road from them.

Take the Broadway exit off I-30, and turn toward the Arena at the end of the
exit ramp. Go on past the Arena, under the railroad, and 3 blocks further
on, to Maple St. Turn left, and get ready to turn right onto Washington
Street 2 blocks from Broadway. The hotel is on your right, and the main
entry is the canopy closer to Washington St. There is no parking lot access
directly off Maple St.

The hotel desk is right in front of you as you come through the doors.
Do your business with them, then proceed on down the hall at the right of the
desk. There will be signs pointing you to Convention registration.

Pick up your Dealer Information Packet and your registration badge(s) at
Convention Registration. This will contain your table location, whatever
special identification we have of your Dealer status, exact dealer room hours
for the weekend, and other miscellaneous information.

The dealer room is directly off this registration lobby, as is the art show.
If you get here too early Friday to set up, go relax in the Consuite for a
bit and we'll call you when the room is ready. If you get here too late to
unload and set up Friday, you will be let in an hour early on Saturday.
