What I tend to do in this circumstance is wear my leather jacket, and run the seatbelt through one of the straps on the shoulder (not sure what the name is), then snap it shut. This works really well -only- if the car has AC and the driver/owner is willing to pay for the gas to run it, or if the outdoor temperature is cool enough to not need AC anyway. -Winged
