Although D&D has a bad name. It might be "safer" to play some other roleplaying game. I'm afraid I don't understand why the "pain&sarcasm." Tracy Hickman (co-creater of DragonLance and the origianl RavenLoft moduals) once told about how he was a youth leader in Church and he figured he'd never seen a bunch of boys who needed to play a roleplaying game worse. So he tried to have D&D as a youth activity, and the Bishop said, "I'm sorry, some of the parents have concerns." So he switched his genre from fantasy to science fiction, and everyone was happy. The boys couldn't stop fighting amoungst themselves, by the way, and eventually got the entire party blown-up. The parent who came to observe was very impressed. :) Michelle Bottorff Lady Lavender -- Family webpage: http://home.sprintmail.com/~mbottorff/index.html Lady Lavender's Filksongs: http://www.freemars.org/lavender/index.html 25r:2a:1p
