Doing a group dinner trip after the rehearsal may be a good
alternative. There's an acceptable polynesian place a few
blocks away, and assorted chinese/pizza places in the other
direction. Depending on number of people eating and vehicles
avaiable, we could consider longer distances; bertucci's
(1.5 miles), or going to the chinese place in Malden rather
than having them come to us (about 2 miles).

Another alternative: Pot-luck. Show up with food. That may
be a bit more difficult for those coming by public transit,
I grant, but it can be done.

Another alternative, of course, is for people to bring a bag
lunch as dinner. Less fun, but it does achieve the goal.
