It looks as though it's going the same way as Intersection, refusing to
take "No, I don't have time" as an answer ("could I press-gang you?"),
and is the reason I refused to have anything to do with this one.  It
seems that it doesn't matter who the organisers are...

I don't agree that he has justification.  "Give us a room, and we will
use it" is all he needs to know.  This obsession with "who's in charge"
is simply unfannish!  It's up to the filkers who (if any one person) is
"in charge", and whether anything gets into the PRs and programme book.
If all he wants is a contact point, why not give him this list address
(probably need to subscribe him so he can send to it)?

At this point, is it even known who will be there from non-UK (America,
Germany, etc.)?  Can he provide a list of all the filkers who are known
to be there (is there a list available of all current members of the
Worldcon)?  As I recall, your messages on rmf got a resounding silence
(three people saying that they were coming from the USA, was it?).  Is
it known which of the UK filkers are intending going?
