We're trying to get hold of a reasonably large room so that it is available, but I don't know how heavily it will be used. The basic idea I think is to start thinking roughly along the lines of what happened in 95, and see where we go from there. > Doe anyone know how accessible the programming heads are for the rest of > the con, and would it make sense to focus efforts on getting filkers > included on other fanac and creativity-oriented panels? I'm having difficulty getting through to the con people at the moment - the only real contact I have is Martin Easterbrook. I think Lissa is having better luck. But it should hopefully get better once we have someone to be the official filk contact with the con. Last Saturday we did briefly discuss getting filkers on other items - I think the consensus was Yes, it's a good idea. Of course in 95 the filkers seemed to be running about half the science programme.
