[ChiFilk-Ann] John Prine Ensemble gig and August Housefilk

	Last month's housefilk was very thinly attended. Not complaining. 
Just stating fact for the record. :-> This month's is August 24th, as
usual (fourth Saturday). We're on track from here till at least the end of
the year, with the exception of October: I'll be out of town the fourth
Saturday. If anyone has any preferences where it should get moved for
October let me know. 

	Shameless self-promotion: the John Prine Ensemble, a class I'm 
taking at the Old Town School of Folk Music, is gigging out this Sunday, 
August 11th, at 7, at the Lyon's Den pub, 1934 W. Irving Park. No cover 
charge, but this *is* a bar, so if you don't have legal ID showing that 
you're over 21, you won't get in. They gave me lead vocal on one of the 
songs, unexpectedly, so come watch me have a nervous breakdown. :->
