I would like to ask a favor of the filk community out there; rather,
*another* favor, which in some lights is a bigger one than your most
gracious loan of a guitar: crash space.

I would like to fly out on Thursday so as to be rested for the con and
give it my best. Interfilk will pay for my hotel room Friday, Saturday,
and Sunday nights. Spencer wrote,

but that doesn't describe me.

If I could stay with someone in the area on Thursday night
(cat-fuzz-less because of allergies), that would save me the cost of a
hotel night, which at the moment is a significant consideration. Even
sharing a night's hotel cost would be a savings.

I'm about to make my plane reservations for Phila-SFO, Thursday out,
Monday back, in any case. But if I need to extend my hotel reservation,
I should decide that soon. Can you convey my request to area fandom?
(I know you're in the Republic of *Southern* California ;-) , but I
don't know just who's where, and you're one of my main con-tacts.) Or
should I just throw it out on rmf as I did the other?
