Just posted on ba.market and ba.music, so I'm pretty sure they'll get
claimed. Would prefer it to be by a filker, of course.

You're welcome to drop by downtown Palo Alto for lunch any day, if you'd
like. Danger Research (new job) is on University.
In fact, anyone on this list is welcome to. ;-]

You bet.
Nothing thrills me more than living at a place to which the virtually
exclusive means of transit after 9:00 AM comprises "Ride your bike, walk, or
take any mass transit line to Church/Market."
(Perhaps it would be more appreciated by people other than Kanef after going
through years of Silicon Valley, "You're going to come here by bus? Well, I
don't know if you can do that, I don't think I've ever seen a bus here. Why
don't you just go buy a car?")

My personal last straw was when I went to speak at a Sunnyvale city
council meeting on a crucial mass transit issue and we all had to WALK HOME
FROM THE MEETING AT 11:30 PM since it was in a sprawled location that wasn't
even served by mass transit. Funny, our government representatives didn't
even see anything inappropriate about that. I severed my lease the next
week.
(The meeting was to discuss the spending millions on money previously
earmarked to improve mass transit in order to bulldoze the existing Caltrain
station to build a pedestrian-unsafe, ADA incompliant, four-story parking
garage that train users will now have to walk through.)
