Hey ---
I'm leaving Silicon Valley in the next week, and am getting rid of some
stuff. (The short form is that I finally got fed up of second-class
citizenship for not owning a personal internal combustion vehicle, and am
trying life in San Francisco rather than giving up and moving to Europe.)
Does anyone have use for a box of about 100 bubble-wrap casssette
mailers? They were purchased years ago when I'd assumed Prometheus would be
putting out tapes, not CDs.
I'd hate to throw out so many new, unused cassette mailers, but I don't
think they're recyclable, and will be tossed next week unless somebody wants
'em.
(LA folks CC'd in case you want them, and know of anyone coming down who
might be willing to take 'em down.)
For locals, I also have an extra computer desk; paid $160 months ago,
happy to sell for $50, or donate to a worthy cause or low-income individual.
Yours,
Eli
P.S. The new address will be 210 Church #6 in 7-10 days.
You're all welcome to visit. Note that (unlike Silicon Valley), the space
adjoining the apartment is too valuable to be wasted on storing automobiles
so your automobile isn't. (instead, all that space enables *gasp!* community
bookstores, restaurants, and other community spaces within walking
distance.)
Conveniently, the J, K, L, M & N lines all run within 30 feet from my front
door, and are minutes from BART.
