Despite the short notice, many of the people who have replied have said that January 27 works for them (correctly guessing that I meant the 27th and not the 24th), so I'm seriously considering the 27th. Come to think of it, it even suggests a theme. It's the 40th anniversary of the Apollo 1 fire. Yes, it's Space Disaster Weekend again: the next day is the 21st anniversary of the Challenger accident, the first U.S. in-flight fatalities. (The first human in- flight fatality was 40 years ago this April, according to http:// en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Space_disaster.) It's not such a downbeat theme either; there are plenty of non-depressing space disaster songs that range from uplifting to morbidly humorous -- and I'm not even thinking so much of my own work when I say that. I'll check on clubhouse availability and also give people another day or two for feedback. --Kanef
